Larry and His Mongolian Mini-Me

In the midst of going through my pictures of Mongolia and posting about Larry's wedding, I found Larry's Mongolian Mini-me! What do you think? The kid is got the "Larry" expression down, the similarity is uncanny!*

* Or am I too tired to think straight, blogging at a time when I should be sleeping...

Larry & Amanda

On Oct 7, 2006, our good friends Larry and Amanda celebrated their happy day and tied the knot in Mt. Dora, FL. It was a beautiful and fun wedding, I feel very privileged to be a part of it. Congratulations Larry and Amanda!

I brought a camcorder instead of my camera, so here are a few pictures I took on my camcorder.

Here are a few more pics on my flickr page

Larry and Amanda, welcome to the married world... the beginning of many adventures (and misadventures).

Globilizing Manufacturing

So I came across this label on some batteries made by Panasonic in Mongolia.

"Made in Indonesia, China, or Brazil"*

What?!?

*So here is the question: if you really had to choose between these 3 countries to have your batteries made, which one would you choose?

Catching Up

Still trying to catch up from my trip... Got back from Asia last Monday, then went down to Orlando three days later to be a part of my buddy Larry's wedding, followed that up with three days of various meetings for work before returning late on Wednesday evening. I could do without flying for a while.

Lots of postings to catch up on, I've had quite a few moments where I've thought to myself, "this would make a great blog post." (Man, I am a big dork.) Anyways happy reading...
